First Fixing

First Fixing usually refers to carpentry tasks that are carried out during the early stages of a build, including; timber (stud) walls, floor boards, installing staircases, window boards, and door linings and frames.

Flooring

Beautiful floors often give a room a real ‘wow’ factor! Floors can either be softwood or hardwood.

Some examples of floors on offer are: Maple, Oak, Walnut, Beech, and Pine. Parquet floors are also included within our range of flooring services.

Bespoke Storage Solutions

Bespoke Storage Solutions is an essential part of modern-day carpentry, which enables the customer to maximize every part of the property so that no potential storage space is wasted. Our bespoke storage solution projects for clients have included fitted wardrobes, cupbords, window seats.

Joisting

Floor joisting is the timber substructure of a floor on any level in a building. Rows of timbers (Noggins) are cut and fitted in between the joists in order to strengthen the joists.

Flat Roofing

Flat roofs often accommodate structures such as ‘lanterns’, in order to give the room below as much natural light as possible.

Cut and Pitched Roofing

Cut and Pitched Roofing is the traditional form of carpentry roofing. Predetermined calculations are used in order to create a specific pitch (degree) of a roof.

Second Fixing

Second Fixing refers to tasks such as fitting doors and locks, skirting boards, architraves, dado and picture rails, and fitting staircase spindles.
